Course Prerequisites
To enroll in the SDI Deep Diver Course, you must:
Be at least 18 years old, or 10 with parental consent
Hold a valid Open Water Scuba Diver certification (or Junior equivalent)
What You’ll Learn
The SDI Deep Diver Course is focused on safety, dive planning, and comfort at depth. You’ll gain experience and knowledge in:
Dive planning for depths between 18 and 40 metres
Understanding nitrogen narcosis and managing gas consumption
Deep dive descent and ascent techniques
Use of dive computers for multi-level dive planning
Emergency protocols and safety stops
Improving buoyancy control, navigation, and situational awareness at depth
