At Warrior Dive Adventure, our TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor Course is designed for experienced scuba instructors looking to expand their teaching qualifications and lead technical divers into more advanced realms of underwater exploration. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Great Barrier Reef, this program equips you with the ability to certify divers in the use of enriched air nitrox (EANx) from EAN 21 through to pure oxygen (EAN 100) for dives up to 40 metres/130 feet—without staged decompression.
As part of the program, instructors also have the option to combine their training with the
TDI Decompression Procedures Instructor Course, enabling them to teach planned decompression diving to a depth of 45 metres/150 feet.
What You’ll Be Certified to Teach
By completing this course, you’ll gain the credentials to instruct and certify divers in:
Advanced Nitrox Diving (EAN 21–100)
Decompression Procedures Diving (to 45 meters / 150 feet)
Gas planning, staging, and switching for technical diving
Safe and efficient use of oxygen-rich decompression mixes
Dive protocols in line with TDI standards and global best practices
You’ll also gain advanced skills in risk assessment, dive planning, and student instruction, all while exploring some of the most diverse and vibrant marine ecosystems in the world.
Instructor Course Prerequisites
To enroll in the TDI Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures Instructor Course, candidates must:
Be at least 18 years old
Hold current certification as a TDI Nitrox Instructor or higher
Have completed certification as a TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver and TDI Decompression Procedures Diver (or equivalent)
Log at least 150 open water dives
Have certified at least:
10 SDI Deep Divers
10 SDI Enriched Air Nitrox Divers
4-Day Combined Instructor Schedule
Note: This program must be taught in conjunction with a real-time TDI Advanced Nitrox / Decompression Procedures Diver Course.
