Course Overview The Hollis PRISM 2 Rebreather Mixed Gas Diver Course is the go-to training for: - Experienced CCR divers ready to advance into helium-based diving - Divers looking to dive up to 60 metres using a mixed gas diluent (16%+ O₂) - Technical divers seeking extended bottom times and decompression capabilities - Divers aiming for deep ocean, wreck, or exploration missions Course Prerequisites To enroll, candidates must: - Be at least 18 years old - Provide a verified log of 50+ hours and 50 dives on the Hollis PRISM 2 CCR - Divers with 50+ hours on another TDI-recognized CCR only need 25 hours on the Hollis PRISM 2 Valid dives must include: - Depths greater than 9 metres (30 feet) - Half must be deeper than 20 metres (66 feet) - Hold one of the following certifications: - TDI Air Diluent Decompression Procedures Rebreather Diver, or - TDI CCR Helitrox Diluent Decompression Procedures Diver, or equivalent What You’ll Learn This intensive, hands-on rebreather training includes: - Full equipment critique and setup for the Hollis PRISM 2 CCR - Gas planning for oxygen and helium-based mixes - Setpoint management and manual control of oxygen dosing - Advanced CCR bailout strategies and emergency drills - Loop management, decompression control, and contingency planning - Oxygen and helium physiology, OTU/CNS exposure, and mission readiness
